Day 2: Music
Music is one of those things that I can’t do without. Some say that ‘silence is golden’. Well, to them I say that music is platinum because music holds so much emotion and invokes so much emotion in its listeners that it, by itself, is a force of nature. It’s there for you when you’re sad, when you’re angry, when you’re happy. Music knows what you feel. It knows just how to sound, just what to say, just how make everything right.
It’s for this reason that I want music to always be a part of my life. If I could implant a tattoo on my body that played music when I wanted it to, like a built-in iPod, I’d be the happiest person alive. Alas, that’s not technologically possible quite yet. Instead, I settled for a tattoo of a treble clef so that I may be reminded of music everyday and so that everyone I meet knows and understands my love for music.
Oh, goody, now we get to talk music. What’s some of your favorite music to listen to while writing?

While writing? Nothing. To be completely honest music is such a powerful force for me that it has the ability to consume my entire being. For that reason, I write best in silence. However, I listen to the ‘Lindsey Stirling’ iHeart radio station when I’m at work to drown out all other distracting noise.
You?
