Day 7: Pets
Today I’m remembering how grateful I am to have pets. I’ve had a pet for as long as I can remember. I’ve had dogs, a cat, a hamster, some fish, and even a plant or two along the way(I’m kind of bad with these. :/) Whatever the species, pets are amazing! They give us unconditional love and loyalty. All they ask for in return is food, shelter, and love.
Additionally, pets are important because they give strength to the sick, teach kids responsibility, protect owners from danger, lay beside us when we’re sad. They know how we feel. They may not have any words to offer, but instead offer themselves wholeheartedly and I can’t imagine my life without a pet. There’s nothing quite like coming home after a long day to see a wiggling body eagerly greeting you on the other side of the door, or the warming purr of a delighted feline. To anyone who’s never had a pet, you’re missing out. There is no substitute for the love of a pet.

Love my pets (3 cats), just wish the cat that I love would stop his affair with the blonde woman up the street. I love him so much but he treats me so mean. A great post.

Bahaha! It’s okay. Both of my pets are currently being taken care of by my parents and I think my dog may like my dad more than me now. :p I feel you!

I say to my husband “what does she (blonde woman up the street) have that I don’t have?” and he says “The Duke of Wellington (my beloved cat)” and I look away with tearful eyes 🙂 happy weekend!
