November Book Haul

Oh man!

I’ve never been one to have a spending problem. I don’t splurge-buy clothes, shoes, jewelry, cosmetics, or even food, but when it comes to books… new, perfectly pristine books are my kryptonite. In fact, I was that kid who went to the mall with the intention of buying new clothes only to come home with books instead. :/ Needless to say, my mom was a little annoyed about that. Haha! For that reason, though, I try to avoid bookstores to the best of my ability. Unfortunately, this method I’ve designed to stop myself from buying too many books no longer protects me as I have recently discovered BookOutlet.com, which sells brand new books for super, super cheap! Aka: Death for me. >.>

Even so, I held off for some time. I just browsed, made a wishlist, and went back to the numerous books sitting on my nightstand that I still need to read. I avoided the online store. That worked… until I got a coupon, which shot my efforts in the face. That being said, I stocked up my cart with books that were on my TBR and a few that weren’t, and ended up ordering 13, yes 13! books from Bookoulet for about $5 a book and they’re all BRAND NEW! *dies*

There you go! Thirteen books added to the three books I have left over from my October book haul. >.> Yeah, I know. I need to get reading! It’s for this reason that I won’t be having a book haul in December because I really need to read some of these (aka most of them) before I buy more. Plus, these should keep me busy for a while. Hee hee! But what do y’all think? Have you read any of theses? Good? Bad?

  1. I spend too much money on books, and despite the fact that my tbr pile is insane, I’m not going to stop any time soon! City of bones is also sitting on my shelf waiting to be read – I feel really behind not having read anything by Cassandra Clare yet but I just haven’t had a chance to get round to it!
