Day 13: Diversity

I’m thankful for diversity in appearance, beliefs, and everything because a world made of identical, grey, nonchalant people would be boring. (I’ve read enough Dystopians to know that. ^.^)

There are so many unique people on this planet. Each one is molded by their heritage, friends, environment, faith. Each one has their own opinions, desires, and fears and every single one of them can change something, whether it be small or big. They can have an impact on someone. They could even change the world.

Change and improvement comes from diversity. If people were forced to think exactly like everyone else and never be different we never would’ve found the internet, or fire, or clothing. Someone was different. Someone made a change. That is what diversity gives us, the opportunity to change things so that we may live in a better world someday. That’s why I’m grateful for diversity.
