Cristina’s 2016 New Years Resolutions

Resolutions:

Hi, I’m not very into this resolutions kind of thing, but this is kind of fun! I’ll give you a personal, blogging and bookish resolution for 2016!

1. Finish my PhD and find a job in my field.
This is not a very bookish/bloggish related resolution, but it’s a very huge one in my life right now ;-).

2. Reach 1000 WordPress followers!
I never even thought I would be thinking about this kind of number, but I am and I want it! 😀 I love blogging, it has been a big part of my life for almost 3 year and I loved getting so much feedback and meeting so many new people this last year, and I’m kind of addicted to this new rush! I want more! 😀

3. Read more than 50 books this year.
My goal when I started 2015 was to read 30 books – I wasn’t the biggest reader before – and I ended up reading more than 90 books and I loved it. Not only falling back in love with reading, but finding a community to share all my bookish thoughts. I loved the reading and the discussion and the ranting. So, for 2016, I’m aiming to read between 50 and 100 books and I’m hoping that the number will be closer to 100…

Hey!! Hello!! My name is Cristina Afonso and I blog at My Tiny Obsessions. I’m from Lisbon, Portugal, but I’ve been living in Barcelona, Spain, for a little more than 3 years now, where I’m doing my PhD in biodiversity/Biological Anthropology. When I’m not spending my time in a clean lab or sitting in front of my computer analyzing DNA sequences, I’m usually reading, watching TV Shows and blogging (and yeah, I spend a whole amount of time blogging…).
