Monthly Update{Jan}

Wam Bam Thank-you Ma’am! I actually reached my goal this month! I have a complete, polished draft of ‘Sota Radiation’. I’m so excited that I don’t even know what to do with myself right now. :p After I finished the draft, I literally just sat around for a few days. It was like my reprieve from writing/editing/anything novel related and it was glorious, but the show must go on! So, with my goal met, let’s look at what I’ll be doing this month!

Goal 1: Query! That’s right ladies and gents. Having a completed draft of my novel means that I get to finally query literary agents. I get to throw my heart and soul at people I don’t even know and see if they’ll love me or shun me. :p (I’m so dramatic. Haha!) But really though. I’ll be sending out quite a few query letters to see if any amazing agents want to represent me. So, please cross your fingers for me and send all the good vibes you can spare. (You know, unless you hate me. :p)

Goal 2: Edit ‘Reeducation’. Querying isn’t gonna take all month and I think I’ll have a little extra time on my hands what with my graduate school interviews being done. So, that means, I’ll have all my extra time preparing this new, completely unrelated novel. :p *has too many series in the works* But I actually got some AMAZING beta notes from the lovely Eve Messenger and with her comments, I will be gallivanting off to edit this novel because if ‘Sota Radiation’ doesn’t make it, this is my next option. Let’s do this!
