“Oh. My. Freaking. Goodness!”

I honestly don’t have the words to explain to you how this makes me feel. Okay. Maybe I do. I’m a writer, after all, but I can’t say thank you enough for all your support, all your follows, all your reads and comments. I honestly am so surprised and shocked because….A few months ago I set my goal for the rest of 2016 as reaching 400 followers. I did some math and was like: “Yeah. That’s a legit goal. I can totally do that.” And I did. I was ecstatic to have reached that many readers, and I had noooo idea that I would reach 500 followers by the end of the 2016! This just blows my mind! Honestly! Because that means I gained 100 followers in less than two months! 0.0

I wish there was some killer way to thank you guys like hosting a giveaway or something, but… broke college student over here. So… I guess you’ll have to settle for a bunch of updates I’ve prepped for 2017! You ready?

1) I’m nixing all fiction from my blog. I spent the last couple months really looking over the stats and interaction from my World of Radiation and Flash Fiction Friday posts, and they just aren’t getting enough love. I want to offer content to my readers that they want to read, content with which they can engage and comment back. Unfortunately, fiction just isn’t right for that.

With that in mind…

2) I’m starting a new weekly post theme. For a while I’ve wanted to start something new, but never had the time to devote to it with all my other blog posts, but now I do. So, I’m starting a brand new weekly post in the hopes of engaging readers into discussion. It’s called ‘Friday Fandom Fights.’ Each Friday I’ll be pitting two fandoms, two books, two series, two characters, two couples, two something against each other and I want you all to weigh in on which one you think is better (or perhaps which one would win in a fight. :p)

3) I’m hosting a brand new, monthly reading event entitled Calendar Girls Books. Some of you may have seen the announcement post a few weeks back about Flavia and I hosting a brand new reading event. Well, that is gonna start next Wednesday, January 4th! We’re both very excited about it and just sent out our very first newsletter! If you didn’t hear about it and want to participate, no worries! You can join at any time and the newsletter explains it all. ^.^

4) I’m hosting a Q&A. I’ve been blogging for over a year now and while most of my readers likely know quite a bit about me (because I don’t hide much), I’m betting there’s probably still some questions out there. So, for the next two weeks(until Jan 14, 2017), I want people to send me their questions by commenting below, sending me an email through my contact form, or tweeting me on Twitter. And get creative. I want this to be as fun for you guys as it will be for me! ^.^

Whew! That was a lot of stuff to get through. :p But I hope you guys are excited for 2017 because I am and I’m looking forward to continuing to discuss with you all and hear what you have to say!
