Pimps and Ho- Oh wait. Wrong post! 😳
If you’ll recall, three weeks ago I threw out a feeler post to see if someone – anyone – would be even remotely interested in this super crazy, bonkers idea I got: a Halloween guest-blogger event.
“I’m hosting a Halloween event where guest bloggers get to rave and rant, fangirl and support their favorite supernatural creature in whatever way they choose.”
Now, that post was just supposed to be an announcement. It was just supposed to get some attention, check reactions, etc.
But daaaang!
I got such amazing, enthusiastic, hilarious, lightning-fast responses to that post that I immediately tapped into this unused brain stored within the confines of my skull, realized I had to capture some sou- people before they had a chance to escap- run- change their minds.
Would you stop trying to take over for TWO MEASELY SECONDS, Hyde?!
*cough* Ahem.
As I was saying, I immediately turned it into a sign-up post instead. I scrambled that very day to get a Google form together (something I’ve never done before, mind you) for those interested to throw in their hats and claim the creature their heart yearned for most. And I’m still in shock!
10 bloggers signed up in 2 days! 😲
I never thought so many people would be interested, much less promote it on Twitter where others could find it, and even more signed up because of that! I now have 16 bloggers for my Hallo-WE-en event! And I’m beyond ecstatic!
Of course, as I am quite good at math (if I do say so myself), I know that 16 is, in fact, larger than 13. I know, I’m a genius. 😉 And because of these amazing math skills, I know I can no longer do 13 Days of Halloween. Hahahaha! So, instead, I’m doing….
31 Days of Halloween!
That’s right! I’m looking to showcase 31 different bloggers on MNBernard Books throughout the course of October! And you could be one of them! This is exciting! At first it was because I’d have an extra outlet to nerd out about Nessie, but now I’m excited to read about all these other creatures. Some I haven’t even heard of!

Hahahaha! I always agree about insanity! Alas, I must still at least give the pretense of being sane for the masses as they are truly too sane to understand the insane or even fathom the wondrousness that is insanity. And truly it is only the insane who can appropriately act sane, yes? 😂
