April Update

Writing

Um… where did April go?? I honestly don’t feel like I got any writing done. I mean, I got some done. My Camp NaNo chart is proof of that, but I surely did not reach my goal. Frankly, I didn’t even come close. I had no muse. I was writing in a genre I was unfamiliar with. I hit quite a few road blocks. Aaand life.

Life was the real reason I didn’t get a lot done this month in regards to writing, which makes me sad. However, I hope May will be better. May is going to be editing month for the scifi I sent to betareaders at the beginning of March. Wish me luck!

Reading

0.0 Huh. I’m actually quite surprised by this because I thought I didn’t get hardly any reading done this month. I thought I hard-core struggle-bussed. :p But I didn’t do that bad. In fact, I managed to get through 6 books this month! That’s on top of starting a new job! Woo!

Though, I say ‘get through’ instead of ‘read’ because that new job allows me to listen to audiobooks all day. So, that’s probably why. Without the audiobooks, I’d be at only like… 4? Which still isn’t bad I suppose. Still, hardly puts a dent in my TBR. :p Hope to keep up this pace in May!

Hey! Maybe I’ll even finish my Goodreads goal early. Oooo!

Blogging

Average? Sure. Let’s go with that. I didn’t really go out of my way this month to do any special posts. Honestly, I don’t really know what I even posted this month because it went by in such a flash. Though, I don’t think I actively missed any posts. That’s really all I can hope for during a busy month. :p
