Monthly Update {October}

Writing

The beginning of October was spent polishing Sota Radiation because… I sent out query letters this month. That’s right! It’s out there in the world again. I’m hoping to hear positive feedback. I’m hoping an agent will request more, but in case they don’t, I’m in the process of re-writing two other novels: a dystopian and a science fiction. While I’m not participating in NaNo this year, I will be spending quite a bit of November writing anyway. Here’s hoping something works out, whether it’s querying or rewriting. Wish me luck! ^.^

Reading

Woo! I actually got some books read this month. I’m really surprised as I’m the slowest reader on earth, especially when I’m in school. Even so, I read seven books this month. I’m pretty sure that’s a new record, or pretty darn close. And that means I’ll have lots of reviews for you guys come November. Though, I still have 50 books sitting in my living room. I read a few and ten more pop up. It’s getting bad, guys. Hopefully they don’t obtain minds of their own and drown me for lack of reading them. *sigh*

Blogging

It seems that people are still quite enjoying my discussion posts and I’m so happy about that. I will continue to do discussion posts and highlights in the future. If you have any suggestions for a discussion post, or want to discuss something, leave me a comment or send me a message through my contact page. I’d love for some reader ideas! ^.^

As some of you may have noticed, I participated in INKTOBER this month in order to give my brother and sister-in-law some drawing inspiration. My inspiration was little red riding hood, but with a twinge of Celtic culture and dialect. If you haven’t read it yet, take a look below. Perhaps I’ll do something like this in the future if you guys enjoyed it. ^.^
